Exchanges

An Exchange is a meeting of civil engineering students from all over the world by invitation of a local committee. Usually they last a week and offer a technical part, which is shaped by lectures as well as by practical insights, e.g. by construction site tours. In addition to the technical part, there is always a cultural programme on the agenda to give students from all over the world an insight into the local culture and to promote social interaction.
Once a year an ACCESS (Academic Congress of Civil Engineering Students) takes place. This is a special exchange, because besides the professional and cultural aspects, elections for the General Board take place. The General Board is the executive committee of the umbrella organization of all Local Committees worldwide.
