ICEC Final Stage in Porto

On the occasion of the ICEC Final Stage we Magnus and Philipp travelled to Porto. We didn’t take part in the competition ourselves but we didn’t want to miss out on the fun.

After a relaxed first evening of getting to know everyone a sightseeing tour was on the schedule. Porto is a beautiful city and always worth a visit.

Of course the highlight was the International Night with a great performance by Team Karlsruhe. The combination of Jägermeister beer and port wine made for an unforgettable evening for all of us.

The next few days were all about the challenges but we joined other participants for an alternative program at the beach.

On Thursday the competition ended with a fancy Gala Night where the winner was announced. Congratulations to LC Budapest.

To round off the trip we had the full Porto experience with a not so successful surf lesson a very successful port wine tasting and a boat tour on the Douro River.

It was a wonderful and eventful week. We had lots of fun and made many new friends. We would love to come back to Porto and a big thank you to LC Porto for the warm hospitality.
